1.
a) Don Imus made a very inappropriate racist coment about a group of people on public airwaves
b) He called some young women at Rutgers University "nappy-head ho's"
c) It is very easy to pick this arugument out because it is so drastically offensive to not just the women targeted but to everyone

2.
a) Don Imus made another racist coment previous to this one so this arugument is a lot like the last one because they were both about the same issue. He argues that in both situations he just said it because he was trying to be funny because thats what he does.
b) It doesnt make a difference if he was trying to be funny or not because there is a fine line between funny and offensive and he definately crossed it

3.
a) This argument was caused because he was trying to be funny but to everyone else he was being offensive and inapropriate
b) If this continues to happen he will continue to offend and hurt people. Also the fine like between what is funny and what is unacceptable will slowly dissappear because people will start accepting this type of behavior
c) This may cause Don Imus to lose his job

4.
a) It is very bad because he is continually offending people and if everyone keeps accepting his public apologies he will continue to do this because he know people will forgive him
b) This argument is the same as the last argument because they are arguing the same type of racism issue. Don Imus has also made public apologies in both situations so i believe neither is better or worse than the other.

5.
a) He should be taken off the air and fired because if he didnt learn his lesson the first time this situation happend he wont ever learn and therefore he wil continue to be inapropriate and offensive
b) I think if he is fired the airwaves will actually save money because they wont have to deal with future lawsuits and public arguments that may eventually lead to taking Imus off the air anyways.

6.
a) Everyone is entitled to argue about this situation especially the people targeted
b) Yes definately because it needs to be publicly argued so that everyone knows whats going on and that everyone knows the situation is not just being ignored, it is being largely addressed.
